Swimming in Paradise.

This day literally felt like we wern't in Cairo. It was totally another world. We had so much fun. Check these photos.

The biggest pool in all of Cairo...

Love the face Adrienne =)

Can you guess what I'm doin? I decided to invert the colours for some reason. I think it looks kool =S .. =)

After the pools we went horseback-riding at night to the pyramids. What an amazing night. We are going again today with some friends here I met. I have taken some photos but I'm waiting for a batch of good ones and I'll do them as one big post.

Love you all

AHHHH! What's happening?

Cairo's been amazing so far. So so busy. A city that really blows my mind. Just put a few pictures on, more should be on their way.

Check these out..

Our veiw from our apartment.

This Chch was built in 300 AD. The gold you can see is pure gold.

My hand. I like this photo for some reason.

Me, Andres & Jason hanging out outside the hanging chch.

This is the Cave Chch. No walls. No ceiling. Just cave, seats and a stage. (It never rains here so they are safe!)

Apologies for the slow blogging. shocking really. I know all you in Hong Kong will be wondering why. Well computer access is pretty difficult so I'm guna have to stick to an update once every two weeks. sorry.

Bye for now.

The Harvest is PLENTY!!

Well, we've been here a week. What a crazy place this place is. So so so many people here it is rediculous. from 15 - 20 million! When I said the harvest is plenty. I meant it.

It is the 2nd most polluted city in the world. They wern't lying. much worse the Hong Kong. although less humid which is nice. it was 43C the other day. wow. we HAVE to wear pant, nice shirt shirt & shoes. in 43C. hmmmm?

The majority of the week was spent reading the Word out loud. As crazy as this sounds we actually read it aloud twice! in two different regions. There are a few priciples behind why actually we do this but a few scriptures come to mind.. 1Tim4:13 "devote yourself to the public reading of scriputre". It's also about laying a foundation of our time here routed in His Word. Many teams have been here before & all done it. So we are standing on all their shoulders, God's going to do big things.

He spoke to me the other day about standing in faith. Is7:9 "If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all". You know what thats saying?

GO HOME IF YOU DON'T HAVE FAITH!!

Faith is so key to seeing Him move.

After this he encouraged me with "Give thanks to the LRD, call on his name; make him known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted" - Is12:4. He's really seeking to give me more and more ways thank him for the good things he can do. He really wants to move through me to see his name lifted up.

That excites me.

We went to a chch last night, I played Js Lver of my soul & our leader spoke for a bit about who we are & what we are doing. We built some friendships & made contacts. Really really nice people. Totally welcoming. very warm.

Our day off today & we are heading for a boat trip on the nile. Very relaxing. Exactly what we need after such a crazy week.

Signing off,

Adam
